Tenancy Deposit Scheme

Landlords:

Statutory tenancy deposit schemes apply to all assured shorthold tenancies, where a deposit is taken. (this includes renewals to existing tenants).

We will transfer the tenants deposit to an approved scheme with the TDS. We have been approved members of The Dispute Service since inception over 7 years ago. and are authorised to hold deposits under the terms of the legislation. Unfortunately a landlord has no option but to transfer funds into a scheme. Failure to do so may result in a fine of up to three months rent and a landlord being unable to recover possession of their property.

All landlords using our Full Managed and Let Only services automatically have their deposits registered. If you are a private landlord and require more information please telephone 01423 501211.

Tenants:

Your deposit will be transferred to the TDS. We have been approved members of The Dispute Service since inception 7 years ago and are authorised to hold deposits under the terms of the legislation. If we collect your deposit we will issue you with a certificate confirming your funds are protected by the scheme.

Your funds are fully ring fenced and 100% safe with us. A landlord has no option but to transfer funds into one scheme or another, failure to do so may result in a fine of up to three months rent and a landlord being unable to recover possession of their property.
