Our maintenance team has recently been involved in two major refurbishment projects on behalf of our landlords.
Refurbishment of a flat on Station Parade
The FSS maintenance team project managed and completed an extensive refurbishment of a flat on Station Parade, which included fitting a brand new kitchen and bathroom.
By blocking up an existing doorway into the bathroom we were able to give the kitchen more with a better layout for all the appliances and more valuable cupboard space.
We then created a new entrance to the bathroom which again allowed us to reconfigure the bathroom layout which made it feel more spacious with extra room for storage.
We removed unsightly redundant pipes and redecorated with new flooring throughout.
The flat was remarketed on 5th August and went under offer on 20th August.
Refurbishment of detached home on Westville Oval
The FSS maintenance team project managed a major refurbishment of a detached home to the North of Harrogate, just off Ripon Road.
We installed a brand new kitchen and redecorated throughout, replacing the dated brown internal doors and all floowings. We also fitted new window coverings in the property.
This project involved extensive electrical work including a new fuse box, new sockets and switches and new light fittings in the kitchen and bathroom.
The house went on the lettings market on 15th July and a let was agreed on 16th August.
