FSS teams up with Farrow & Ball to offer fresh approach to moving home

Harrogate estate agent FSS is freshening up its approach to selling homes through a unique collaboration with premium paint and wallpaper specialist, Farrow & Ball.

The property sales department at FSS has teamed up with Kate Osborne, Colour Consultant at the Farrow & Ball Harrogate showroom, to offer an in-home colour consultation to all homeowners who put their house on the market with FSS.

Partner for FSS, Richard Smailes said: “This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is thinking of moving house in the coming months to seek professional guidance before preparing their home for sale.

“The partnership with Farrow & Ball backs up our commitment to offer quality and value to our clients and help sellers achieve their asking price through honest and accurate valuations, knowledge of the local market spanning 25 years and creative marketing support to make the most of each property’s potential.”

Kate Osborne was a commercial interior designer for 15 years working on large public buildings including hospitals, banks and schools as well as privately owned restaurants, reception areas and offices. She was an Associate Partner in charge of interior design for an architectural practice for 10 years and in 2002 joined Farrow & Ball at its Harrogate showroom.

She is known for her ‘whole room’ approach and her consultancies are peppered with colour advice, providing guidance on all the contributing elements of the room, such as furniture and picture placement and soft furnishing styles.

Commenting on the partnership, Kate said: “We are very excited to be working with such a forward-thinking local estate agent to help its clients achieve the maximum value from their homes.

“We will also be offering our services through FSS to landlords, property developers and new buyers who want to find a colour scheme that makes the most of the features of their property.”
